The Province's LocalMotion program's first round of funding announced in April, 2007 includes a $218,650 provincial grant to allow View Royal to incorprate bicycle lanes into the existing roadway and improve the Six Mile Bridge.
View Royal is one of 26 communities across British Columbia that are receiving $18.9 million in the first round of the Province's LocalMotion program, to build bicycle paths, trails and walkways, support community playgrounds and improve accessibility for people with disabilities.
